The second ACCENT Symposium will be hosted once again by the charming Urbino – Italy. The exceptional Renaissance urban complex of the town harmoniously adapted to its physical site offers a suggestive framework to this Conference which would be a prime tool to promote a common European strategy in the field of atmospheric composition change.

The Symposium will be focussed on the relevance of atmospheric composition change on key societal issues as climate change, air quality, human health and ecosystems. It will also deal with outreach themes, such as training the next generation of atmospheric scientists and synthesis of scientific results for policy makers and the general public.

The Symposium will consist of plenary oral presentations, poster sessions and special sessions for outreach activities.
