20 hours of expert instruction / 2 workshop levels offered (according to teaching experience) / levels with similar core curricula / a choice between 2 sessions in August 2005.

Seminar Level for Experienced Teachers of English: “Professional Update Workshops”

Dates:

1. 8-12 August 9.00-13.00
2. 16-19 August 10.00-13.00/14.00-16.00

Seminar Level for Pre-Service Teachers of English:“Teacher Training Workshops” (level includes graduating students and recent graduates not currently teaching)

Dates:

1. 8-12August 9.00-13.00
2. 16-19August 10.00-13.00/14.00-16.00

• Significant Features of English Phonology
• Web-lish: Is it a New Communicative Genre?
• C.L.I.L. (Content and Language Integrated Learning): A Methodological Simulation Using the Topic ‘Gender and Language Learning’
• English Through New Eyes:A New Look at Grammar
• Additional Topic for Pre-service Teachers of English: “Current ESL/EFL Pedagogic Trends in the U.S.”
