Learning Objectives

The course aims to introduce the main issues of Roman company and business law, and to enable students to acquire a knowledge of Roman trade models.

Program

Analysis of legal cases and specific episodes about the main sectors of the Roman economy:

  • - market organization;
  • - commercial business activities;
  • - private enterprise;
  • - commercial finance contracts.
