This course is taught partially in Italian and partially in a foreign language. Study materials can be provided in the foreign language and the final exam can be taken in the foreign language.

Learning Objectives

The course deals with "Le langage du tourisme" which will be developed on the basis of the skills and objectives of the two language courses. Students will be invited to reflect on the different types of texts in French through the practice of translation, as a way of discovering the text and its characteristics.

Program

By reading, understanding and translating these texts, students will develop an appropriate critical approach to French texts and will learn to recognize and reproduce linguistic and stylistic features.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

- Knowledge and comprehension: the student demonstrates that he or she is able to recognize the different types of texts in French, and that he or she recognizes the main characteristics of the text;
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: the student demonstrates that he is able to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in order to reproduce in French and Italian the main characteristics of the different types of text, demonstrating adequate preparation for the drafting of texts in French;
- Autonomy of judgement: the student is able to autonomously recognize the peculiarities of a text and the communicative strategies used by the author;
- Communication skills: the student is able to produce written texts independently from the knowledge acquired during the course, but also thanks to their own skills and personal knowledge, and the skills acquired during the course of study;
- Learning abilities: the student has the necessary tools, from a theoretical and practical point of view, to be able to understand, analyze and evaluate texts of different types, and to be able at the same time to produce their own texts, in different p
