You can travel by bus in the urban area of Urbino, buying a single bus ticket or applying for a monthly/yearly bus pass.
From the old town centre to the Halls of Residence: lines 1 and 3
Tickets can be purchased directly on board the bus, using 5-cent, 10-cent, 20-cent, 50-cent, 1-euro and 2-euro coins at the ticket machines provided. The machines do not give change.
If a ticket machine or date/time punching machine does not work, it is advisable to notify the driver immediately, in order to avoid the risk of a fine.
Tickets may also be purchased at the company’s ticket offices or at authorized sales points (news-stands, tobacconists, bars, food stores, etc.) displaying the appropriate sign.

In order to get your bus-pass badge you have to submit to the bus station a passport-sized photograph.
