Learning Objectives
The aim of the course is helping the students to understand and translate English texts
Program
The course is about journalistic and multimedia translation. It will alternate between practice and theory, with the professor guiding the students' reflection on their own activity.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The students must eventually acquire both translating abilities for the texts in question and self-reflexive capacities as translators.

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

"Frequentanti" need a 70% attendance ratio to be defined as such.

Written test (English-Italian translation with theoretical question). Dictionaries are allowed.
