Learning Objectives

The course covers the main issues relating to the study of resources, the management of commodities (in terms of availability, transformation and utilization) with particular focus to the aspects relating to their quality and certification in a sustainable perspective, also analyzes the fundamental production cycles and the derived basic products using a technical-economic approach. At the end of the course, student will acquire the main concepts for the sustainable management of commodities, the main production cycles with particular attention to aspects relating on the quality and certification of commodities and services, using technical and economic tool.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

Knowledge and understanding: at the end of the course the student must be able to understand the dynamics that govern the analysis and management of raw materials, production cycles of commodities from a sustainable technical and economic point of view.

Applying knowledge patience and understanding: at the end of the course the student must be able to set up a sustainable technical and economic management planning.

Making judgments: at the end of the course the student must be able to interpret the economic, technological and production issue related to the sustainable management of commodities and their related services.

Communication skills: at the end of the course the student must be able to obtain and use an appropriate terminology and multidisciplinary communications for sustainable management the production of commodities and their production cycles.

Learning skills: at the end of the course the student must have developed good autonomous learning skills that allow him:

· to deepen the conceptual tools and operational skills suitable for dealing with the multiple management techniques of organizations and the relative models for evaluating the results achieved;

· to undertake further individual training / refresher courses.

The capacity in question will be solicited both through research activities on the net and through in-depth material provided by the teacher on the platform.

Teaching

The course involves the use of different teaching methods:

- frontal lessons;

- testimonies from entrepreneurs;

- classroom discussions.

Compulsory attendance  is not expected.

Assessment

The evaluation is realized through written test consisting of 30 multiple choice questions on the main topics covered during the course. The time available to answer these questions is 30 minutes. In order to be eligible, the sufficiency threshold is to answer in a correct way to 18 questions out of 30.

Le studentesse e gli studenti che hanno registrato la certificazione di disabilità o la certificazione di DSA presso l'Ufficio Inclusione e diritto allo studio, possono chiedere di utilizzare le mappe concettuali (per parole chiave) durante la prova di esame.
