Learning Objectives

Acquire a basic preparation on the IT tools underlying the digital transition of the public administration in services for citizens.

Program

Topics that will be covered in class will include the following topics:

  • Meaning and implications of the term digital
  • Computer identification and digital identity T
  • Tools  for authentication (material, non-material, biometric)
  • The electronic document: nature, requirements
  • Online access to electronic documents
  • Checking the integrity of data exchanged online (hash functions)
  • Electronic trust services: electronic signatures and electronic seals; electronic time stamping and electronic marking; electronic stamp; certified electronic delivery services and PEC; digital domicile.
  • Protection of personal data
  • Archives, databases and databases

Bridging Courses

No propaedeuticity is provided. However, prior knowledge of basic computer science concepts is recommended.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

At the end of the course, the student should:

  • have acquired a knowledge and an ability to understand the IT tools used to manage documents and archives in a digital environment;
  • be able to apply their knowledge and understanding in a working context in order to solve problems related to the computer management of digital documents and archives with a professional approach;
  • be able to acquire information and/or data useful for reflection, the formulation of hypotheses and the determination of autonomous judgments on the use that Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can have in a work context for the management of digital documents;
  • be able to clearly communicate knowledge, ideas, problems and solutions on the use of ICT in computer document management to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors;
  • to be able to study and learn independently how to use and employ Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for computer document management in a work context.

Assessment

The examination consists of a proficiency test. This means that no grades are given, but only the status of "fit" (or "unfit"). (or not suitable)

The final assessment of learning is written and aimed at ascertaining the knowledge and understanding of the concepts presented in class, as well as their practical application to real cases.

The final assessment test will consist of tests with multiple-choice, multiple-choice, true or false, open-ended questions and questions based on the resolution of simple case studies consistent with those analyzed during the lessons in the classroom (and reported in the teaching materials available on the website of the course).

The qualification will be achieved by answering 75% of the questions correctly. 

Disabilità e DSA

Le studentesse e gli studenti che hanno registrato la certificazione di disabilità o la certificazione di DSA presso l'Ufficio Inclusione e diritto allo studio, possono chiedere di utilizzare le mappe concettuali (per parole chiave) durante la prova di esame.

A tal fine, è necessario inviare le mappe, due settimane prima dell’appello di esame, alla o al docente del corso, che ne verificherà la coerenza con le indicazioni delle linee guida di ateneo e potrà chiederne la modifica.

Notes

The teacher will provide lecture notes, exercises, slides, as well as scientific articles produced by him. All the above materials will be made available to all students, even non-attending students, starting from the teaching web page.
