Learning Objectives
The laboratory is aimed at acquiring the fundamental theoretical and methodological principles of educational design and evaluation.
The course aims, in particular, at the mastery of the concepts and procedures that characterize the planning and evaluation processes in the field of childcare services. The knowledge of the main techniques of monitoring and attribution of values (in relation to some specific objects, such as school contexts, teaching practices, etc.) constitute essential training elements for exercising the professionalism of the educator (as well as the teachers, the pedagogical coordinators , etc).
In particular, the course is aimed at the knowledge and understanding of:
· Functions, forms, planning and evaluation times
· Administration of planning and evaluation tools
· Reliability and validity of the instruments adopted
Program
The laboratory program will mainly focus on the investigation and testing of solutions suitable for addressing specific pedagogical-didactic problems related to planning and evaluation in educational services. The students - called to work according to laboratory methods - will experiment with methodologies and tools of the experimental investigation.
