Learning Objectives

The course gives the bases  for the study of hydrogeological risk. The student will be introduced to the use of innovative survey and analysis techniques.

More in detail, the student will learn how to utilize terrestrial and satellite remote sensing techniques and the data visualization though Virtual and Augmented reality. Finally, the use of territorial data in numerical simulation and the role of climate change in the management of hydrogeological risk will be discussed.

The program will be structured as following:

-  Introduction to hydrogeological risk

-  Innovative survey techniques

-  Virtual and Augmented reality

-  Numerical simulation and climate change in the hydrogeological risk management

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
