Themes
The course is intended for foreign students who want to learn and/or improve their knowledge of the Italian language and culture in the relaxed and stimulating environment offered by the city of Urbino, just a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea.
The number of levels will activate in compliance with the «Common European Framework of Reference for Languages»: A1, A2, B1, B2. During the courses, students will acquire the necessary linguistic, social, practical and cultural skills to carry out everyday tasks and develop an understanding of the most interesting aspects of the Italian culture.

Lessons timetable
Lessons are from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and twice a week from 3 to 5 p.m. for a total of 24 hours per week. Attendance of each module corresponds to 4 credits. These credits will be awarded to students who attend classes regularly (not more than 20% of absences) and pass the final exam. A certificate of attendance will be issued on request to students who are not interested in receiving credits and/or have exceded the 20% allowed absences.
The cost of the course includes a guided tour of Urbino during the first week of each month and the screening of one Italian movie per week. In addition, students can choose among a broad variety of cultural and leisure activities organized in the afternoon, in the evening, and at the weekend (not included in the cost of the course), such as:
guided tour of the most interesting museums of Urbino and surrounding areas;
visit to farms and wine farms;
sport activities;
day-trips to towns of historical, artistic and cultural interest such as Gubbio, Assisi, San Marino, Ravenna, San Leo and other interesting places;
2-day trips to Rome, Florence and Venice;
sight of some plays of the theater season of Urbino and the surrounding areas;
possibility to take part in the main cultural and artistic events of the Marches region.
