Learning Objectives

The course on proper nutrition aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of nutrition for health, to motivate them to make better dietary choices, and to provide the practical knowledge to implement these choices in their daily lives. This integrated approach contributes not only to the improvement of individual health but also to the promotion of a broader culture of awareness and dietary responsibility.

The course will address the following aspects:

"The Fundamentals of Nutrition"

  • Basic principles of nutrition.
  • Macronutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
  • Micronutrients: vitamins and minerals.
  • Alcohol.
  • Importance of water.

"Health at the Table: Preventing Diseases through Nutrition"

  • Impact of diet on chronic diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, etc.).
  • Role of diet in disease prevention.
  • Conscious dietary choices.

"Myths and Realities of Nutrition"

  • Analysis of trending diets (keto, vegan, etc.).
  • Debunking common nutrition myths.
