Themes
The master's degree program in Pedagogy (LM-85 R) is a two-year training program that delves into the sciences of education and training. It aims to train experienced professionals in educational, training and didactic processes, with theoretical-practical skills to work in school, socio-educational and cultural contexts. It is the ideal course for those who intend to project and accompany paths of personal, social and cultural growth, putting the focus on the individual and one’s educational needs.
Training objectives of the course are the acquisition of:
· second-level pedagogical knowledge and skills, traceable to the overall framework of pedagogical science;
· advanced knowledge and skills traceable to the framework of the human and social sciences (philosophy, history, psychology, sociology);
· knowledge and skills that allow to carry out activities of direction, coordination, design of social-educational services and principals aimed at people of all ages, in the educational and training, school, parenting and family, cultural, judicial and environmental contexts.
The course is taught in Italian, some materials may be provided in English.

Career prospects
Objectives
The master's degree program in Pedagogy provides for the training of pedagogists, teachers of education and professional development, and experts in educational and curricular planning.
Pursuant to Law No. 55 of April 15, 2024 - Provisions on the regulation of pedagogical and educational professions and establishment of the relevant professional registers - the degree in Pedagogy is a prerequisite for registration in the Register of Pedagogists.

Activities of PhD Students
The course of study is divided into two curricula:
- Progettazione educativa (Educational Design)
- Scienze umane (Humanities)
The course includes lectures, practical laboratory activities and internships. These allow the students to apply the acquired knowledge in simulation contexts, related to the design and evaluation of educational intervention, and begin to build the most appropriate professional paths.
