Learning Objectives

To enable the students to know the first linguistic and cultural stages of Slavic culture.
To develop the ability to place the first linguistic documents of Eastern Slavic in space and time.

To develop  a conscious approach to the skills related to the philological analysis of texts.

The course aims to provide a broad overview of the fundamental issues in Slavic philolgy. Specifically, the student should demonstrate that he/she has acquired:

- knowledge and understanding of the study topics covered durng the course and through the study materials

- the ability to apply the knowledge acquired in such a way as to be able to discuss about the issues of the discipline (applying knowledge and understanding)

- the ability to reflect on the main issues of Slavic philology (making judgements)

- the ability to communicate in an adequate manner information, ideas, problems discussed during the lessons or encountered during individual study (communication skills)

- the ability to develop the necessary learning skills for independent study.

Written form. The learning outcomes will be assessed through 5 open questions in one hour.

The student's ability to communicate the course content clearly, effectively and coherently will be assessed.
