Obiettivi Formativi
Conoscere le principali regole della grammatica inglese; saper leggere e comprendere testi di tipo scientifico; sostenere un colloquio in lingua sui contenuti del corso.
To learn and use the basic grammar rules of the English language ; to read and comprehend texts of a scientific nature; to be able to hold a conversation in English based on course content.

Gli studenti devono scaricare la dispensa usando il username e password forniti dal docente a lezione o tramite richiesta via email a: francesca.carducci@uniurb.it Lo studente deve specificare BIOTECHNOLOGIE nell'oggetto e usare il proprio indirizzo di posta universitario. Durante l'anno, altro materiale potrebbe essere usato a lezione. In tal caso, il materiale sarà reso disponibile e scaricabile dallo stesso sito indicato per la dispensa.

The Scientific Abstract and Its Structure
Reading Materials :
A booklet of reading materials including various types of texts in the field of biology/biotechnology, grammar and Use of English notes, notes on abstracts, and a list of websites that can help in developing necessary skills will be made available. Students must download these materials using the username and password furnished in class or requested via email at: francesca.carducci@uniurb.it
Students must specify BIOTECHNOLOGY as the subject of their email and use their University of Urbino email address.
During the year, additional materials may be used during lessons. These will also be made available on the same site as the booklet (Dispensa).
