The aim of this course is to provide students with the tools to understand the problems of globalisation and technological change, investigating the determinants, characteristics and effects of globalization and the tools for its governance.

5. Heterogeneity of firms and heterogeneity of internationalization strategies
6.The effects of internationalization on home and host countries.

Modalità didattiche

The course will consist in lectures and class discussions. Students will be responsible for reading assigned material before the topic is discussed in class. Homework will include intermediate tests and the preparation of short papers on specific topics to be agreed upon with the instructor.

Oral examination (can be either in English or in Italian). Papers, homework and presentations may be in English.
