The course presents and analyses the characteristics of English in corporate and business presentation and advertising. The objectives, functions, modality and "special language" are looked at in practical and theoretical applications.
The programme looks at the language of presentation and promotion, (advertising elements of wordplay,affixation, etc)
Apart from specific language. cultural identity and cultural diversity will be examined, as well as the language "globalization" and communication.

Written exam - reading comprehension, grammar and lexical items, Internet writing, listening.
Oral exam based on class work.
Students must pass the written exam before attempting the oral. The written exam is valid for a year. A student can take the written and oral on the same day.
Students who have a language degree should contact the course professor for further information. This applies also to Erasmus students.
