Learning Objectives

The student should be able to identify the relationship of Federico Barocci's works with the activity of pupils and followers.

Program

                              The programme develops on the knowledge of Federico Barocci's production and his working method. Knowledge of his works and graphic production by students, collaborators and followers of his language. By the end of the course, the student should have achieved the ability to relate Federico Barocci's work to his collaborators and the study of graphic material.                        

Bridging Courses

Knowledge of 16th century art history, in particular the Counter-Reformation period.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

The student/student must be enabled to understand and discuss the acquisition processes of teaching strategies, therefore interactive lessons and activities will be offered to ensure that they are able to acquire teaching material whose content and procedures are in line with the acquisition of content.
The student/student will acquire a critical understanding of the degree of effectiveness of the didactic activities and content used in learning the guidelines of art history and therefore the contextualisation of Federico Barocci's activity and that of his students . 
The student/student will be able to communicate complex ideas in written and oral form. To achieve this objective he/she will make individual and group presentations in class by posting comments and reflections on Moodle in order to trigger comparisons and discussions;
The student/student will be able to listen attentively and work individually and in groups, to this end lessons, pair and group work will be organised.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Supporting Activities

Guided tours of the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, churches and oratories where the materials under study are preserved.

Guided visits to confraternity headquarters and museums that preserve the materials under study.

Comparisons between students on topics assigned by the teacher in order to refine knowledge.

Assessment

Oral exam ascertaining the knowledge and materials made available, ability to contextualize the topics in relation to ascertaining knowledge of the materials available, ability to contextualise the relationship of Baroque painters with the language of the master.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
